South Andros is not for those looking for bright lights, big cities, fancy restaurants, casinos and paparazzi. Its sights and sounds are best appreciated by those who attune to its untouched nature and natural rhythms.
At The Bluff, you'll find Government Center: the Police Station, Post Office, and phone company. Facing it is Regatta Beach, site of festivals on occasion, but most often a peaceful panorama of white sand, sapphire water, and a few boats at rest.

The colors of South Andros range from the vibrant pink of the South Andros Public Libary in Money Rock...
... to the subtleties of sunrise at Deep Creek, where a crane wades at a still low tide.

Shopping can challenge urban expections; Mr. Johnson's general store, pictured below, gives you an idea. "Bring it, make it, or do without," or live locally, on fresh coconuts and fish.

Enjoy it; it's all part of what makes South Andros unique.

And maybe you'll find a special place to call your own.
